Joe joined Cook Paper in 1992 as a sales representative. From there, he worked his way up to assume the role of President in 2005. Prior to joining Cook Paper, Joe worked for Northwestern Mutual Life and was a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force Reserve.

Joe is a member of TAPPI (Technical Association of Pulp & Paper) and numerous other trade and community organizations.

Joe graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Political Science and English Literature. With his wife and two active boys, he spends his free time volunteering with his church, reading, playing golf or watching Kansas basketball.
